Social Bookmarking- sites that are a popular way to store, classify, share and search links through the practice of folksonomy (an Internet-based information retrieval methodology consisting of collaboratively generated, open-ended labels that categorize content such as Web pages, online photographs, and Web links) techniques on the Internet. Social bookmarking is defined by Wikipedia as a method for Internet users to store, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web pages on the Internet. If you have ever posted your link to one of your blog articles with Digg you have social bookmarked it.

Directory- is the software system that stores, organizes and provides access to information in a directory. In computer networks, a directory is a collection of users, user passwords, and, usually, information about what network resources they can access. However, a directory differs from general database that it has been optimized for searching and retrieving (as opposed to writing) structured data. These performance characteristics make directories ideal for storing information that is relatively static in nature, but where ultra-fast access is essential to the optimal performance of the applications using it. In computing, a directory, catalog, or folder, is an entity in a file system which contains a group of files and other directories. A typical file system contains thousands of files, and directories help organize them by keeping related files together. A directory contained inside another directory is called a subdirectory of that directory. Together, the directories form a hierarchy, or tree structure.

Article- it is the crucial part for SEO to write a good article. Article writing provides you with an excellent method of increasing the PR of your website. The only expense to you is a little time to write short, informative articles that have value to others.

Forum- it is an online discussion of a group, in which participants with common interests can exchange open messages. Forums are sometimes called newsgroup (in the internet world) or conferences. The simplistic definition of a forum is a place where people have the ability to start communication (in the form of threads) and reply to other people's threads. A member of the community in the forum posts a message, which is visible to everyone in that community. Once read, there is the option to post a reply, which can also be visible to the community. Thus, a discussion can build up without all users having to be online at the same time.

Blog Commenting- Indeed, maintaining a blog and commenting on others blog is really helpful for SEO..however.. some new webmaster use Keywords or Phrase for generating more back links, which is not good…other thing is that some post off beat or unnecessary comments on other blog…while leaving a comment you must try constructive and positive comments on others blog as it is the genuine process of give and take policy.

Blog Posting- Blog posting is a way to share some informative content online through blog sites. We can share some information about product, services and latest launch service. You keep on posting to your blog sites like wordpress.com, and you can put links to your article that you posted by hyper linking the keyword for your site into that article. Blog posting is just update your blog daily .Blogs are usually written by one person and are updated pretty regularly. Blogs are often written on a particular topic – there are blogs on virtually any topic you can think of.

Social Media- Media is an instrument on communication, like a newspaper or a radio, so social media would be a social instrument of communication. SEO and social media have been historically disparate methods of generating business online.

Authority Site- Authority sites (or rather authority site status) is what you are interested in if you are in the hunt for top position on the search engines. In search engine optimization terms, authority sites make your job 10 times easier than a website that has not already achieved this status. It does generally have more content and more pages than other sites. The search engines feed on content-rich websites and those with many pages and much content per page will do better when going head-to-head with a smaller site.

Third Party Site- is a site that seems to get an extra ranking boost from the search engines.
